Personal Note

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website and learn more about how I may be of service to you.   I believe that every person alive today has a destiny, and deep down in the core of their being there is a vision and purpose for how that destiny should unfold.  Some have discovered that purpose and have already gained momentum. Others have a vision that is still hidden, and are digging deep to find those jewels buried within them. It's an exciting process and a fulfilling journey!  My career path has allowed me to discover that my personal passion is to help build other people's visions.  Your passion becomes my mission! I have worked with established organizations, both for-profits and non-profits, and I have worked one on one with individuals who are just starting out.  It can be a frightening journey, and I have found that I enjoy being a voice of encouragement and wisdom, as well as a practical helper in the form of a strategy consultant.  For those who are already established, I am able to help tweak their current programs, and also build existing or new programs to help bring continued growth, efficiency and success.  My passion is truly to be a "helper" to you.  When you thrive, I thrive.  At the end of the day, the reward for all our effort is that sense of satisfaction and fulfillment, knowing that you and I have both lived our dream.  As once said by the late Olympic runner Steve Prefontaine, "To give less than your best is to sacrifice the gift."

 

Summary

Jessica is an Ivy League graduate with military training, and a decade of work experience, including 7+ years of business analytics  in the retail, and clinical social services industries. She is an experienced strategic planner, creative problem solver, and excellent communicator who is detail-oriented, and able to adapt and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. She is an analytical and action-oriented team player that continually exerts her best effort to bring success to every opportunity.

 

Career Highlights

Jessica earned her bachelors of psychology from Columbia University, and also served in the United States Air Force Reserves while a a student at Columbia. Before starting Jewel Enterprises Worldwide in 2012, Jessica spent almost a decade working in the growth management of businesses in New York City and throughout the central United States.  Before branching off as a private consultant, Jessica worked as a Business Strategist for a clinical mental health organization.  Her focus was to launch business growth ventures that increased excellence and reduced revenue loss. She excelled in a 15 month project of obtaining National Accreditation for the company. The company's accreditation review with COA passed with highest rankings in all categories!  While living in New York City, Jessica managed operations for a niche retail business in Manhattan. Her work resulted in a 1600% revenue growth over a four year period.   She has also worked as a laboratory assistant at the New York State Psychiatric Institute (under Dr. Carl Hart in the Substance Abuse Research Center), and also  worked as an in-home counselor  for children and families.

 

Background

Jessica has always been an avid athlete, and a person who is passionate about health and wellness.  While a student at Columbia, she competed on the Cross Country, Track & Field and  Cycling Teams.  She qualified for, and participated in the NCCA National Cycling Championships in 2003 in San Francisco, CA. As a high school student, Jessica was a Gatorade Circle of Champions recipient, as well as a 3-time CT State Open Champion for Cross Country and a New England Champion for the 3,200m in outdoor track.  She was also nationally ranked in indoor track for the 3,200m.
